WE ARE BACK for the 2025 CITY2SURF!!

This year our goal is to raise $35 000 for the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. This money will support Dr Jim Blackburn's research into Myelodysplasia (MDS) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), the blood disorders which eventually took the inspiring and much loved Domenico Marrocco, Belmadar's original founder.

We have worked closely with the Garvan Institute since 2015, keeping updated on their breakthroughs in genome sequencing and personalised medicine. As a non-profit organisation, they rely on fundraisers like Belmadar in order to continue their life-changing work.
