This exceptional conversion saw the transformation of existing office space into a contemporary and light-filled childcare facility. The fit-out saw the construction of sleeping, learning and recreational facilities, new office space, kitchen, and amenities. In addition, thanks to a design incorporating an open floor plan layout and half-height walls, visual contact between staff and children throughout the centre were maximised. Works included a complete rework of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural systems to ensure comfort and usability. Thanks to solid working relationships with reputable and reliable sub-contractors, Belmadar completed the works in an efficient and skilled manner that exceeded the client's expectations. The building's post-tensioned concrete structure proved challenging for new service penetrations, requiring precise coordination. Rooms and their associated services were located to avoid structurally critical tendons while maintaining a functional layout that didn't impact the building's structural integrity.
