Work officially commenced earlier this month at Emanuel Synagogue to restore the Heritage Sanctuary to its former splendour, transforming it into a stunning centre for inclusive spiritual and cultural engagement.

The restoration includes the construction of a wrap-around balcony, upgrades to seating on the Lower Floor and two banks of skylights to enhance the natural light in the space. Tapestry wall finishes, timber wall linings and integrated lighting will add texture and warmth while the audiovisual and air-conditioning systems will be upgraded and carefully integrated to minimise their intrusion into both spaces.

Belmadar is proud to be again working with Emanuel Synagogue to restore the sanctuary for the community after completing the new Synagogue and childcare facility in 2018.
