The project involved demolition of the former facility and construction of a new single-storey centre thoughtfully arranged in interconnected pods beneath a striking, unifying roof structure. This community centre is the first of its kind, built using a combination of Glulam, CLT panels, and structural steel, achieving a balance of strength, sustainability, and architectural character. The completed facility provides flexible, light-filled spaces to support a wide range of programs, services, and events, and we look forward to seeing it become a vibrant hub for the local community.
